World Down Syndrome Day

March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. Across the world, we celebrate individuals who are blessed with three copies of the twenty-first chromosome rather than the typical two, including my daughter, Alyssa.
To honor Alyssa and others on this special day, I am sharing the blog, 55 Cool Facts about People with Down Syndrome. I hope you take a minute to read and appreciate the qualities exhibited by our friends with Down syndrome.
