Love Sacrifices

There’s only One who can perfectly love you. He sacrificed everything for your good. Fall in love with Jesus on Valentine’s Day.

By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him? My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth. (1 John 3:16-18 WEB)

Your poem is beautiful, Annie. Thank you for sharing. I don’t think we can ever be reminded enough of God’s great love for us as given through Jesus. Valentine’s Day was much the same as any other for me, but as always, I’m grateful for the gift of God’s love, my family, and those special friends and loved ones God has given me.
